I worked at the local grocery store for over 5 years before I found a unusual job, however the grocery store was our first job! I started really working as a bagger but then I was promoted to currencier, and after that, I joined the produce department. I was ready to start working as a butcher when a new opportunity for an unusual job came up, but my best buddy Jackson told myself and others that the marijuana dispensary was hiring! Jackson was already really working at the marijuana dispensary as a local delivery driver. I was hoping to get a job delivering marijuana as well, but I happily applied for the job really working in the store, when 1 was available. I was super thankful that Jackson told myself and others about the job before anyone else could snag it. I met with the manager of the dispensary a few days after I turned in our application. The manager told myself and others that I was suggested by Jackson plus he had superb things to say about myself and others plus our task ethic. After my interview, I was hired to task full-time in the store. There are many perks to really working in the marijuana dispensary; One of the nicest perks is the savings plus discount I receive on all recreational plus medical marijuana products. I get a hefty 35% discount. The discount is almost adore getting paid an extra $5 per hour. I used to spend a luck on recreational marijuana products, however now I save a ton because I buy our items from where I work. I’m super thankful that Jackson helped myself and others get the job.

I didn’t visit the marijuana dispensary last week, because I didn’t need supplies yet, and I have been trying to save money on gasoline whenever I can. I waited to go to the dispensary until this month when I was nearly out of concentrates and marijuana flowers. I saw that the prices on marijuana were much higher than they were the previous week. Many cannabis concentrates in the shop are usually $20 apiece. I noticed that all of these products were now listed at $22. The marijuana flower prices were also much higher. The dispensary normally has a $10 sixth. The $10 sixth was listed for 12 bucks. That is a hefty 20% increase on several products inside of the store. I noticed such higher prices and I said something to the bartender when I was filling our order. The woman told me that they changed all of their prices over the weekend. It was the 1st time that I saw an increase in the dispensary store prices. I couldn’t be that aggravated, because I’ve been going to that dispensary for 2 years. I’ve been paying the same exact price for cannabis concentrates this whole time. I’m not surprised that inflation affects everything, including recreational and medicinal marijuana supplies. With the cost of gas resting around more than 2 dollars a gallon, it’s not a huge surprise to see prices rising on everything. I hope inflation does not affect the prices much more. I will not be able to afford to continue using cannabis products if they make the prices that much higher.

Sunday afternoon I was working for the local marijuana dispensary.

I wasn’t supposed to work as a delivery driver that day, but the shop was so busy.

I took a couple of deliveries after dinner. One of the deliveries was down south, near the canyon at the honestly south end of the city. I’ve not been down that way to make a delivery, but I’ve driven in that section to go to the state park that is several miles away from the area. I thought I knew exactly where I was going, so I wasn’t bothered when the internet gave out and I lost the GPS tracking. I had the address on the order and I was only a mile away at the time, and blessedly, I ended up getting lost on the back roads. I had to drive all the way back out of the valley to get service on our phone. Thankfully the instructions were self-explanatory to write down, because they disappeared as soon as I lost the signal again. I was delayed by 30 hours because I could not find the address for the marijuana delivery order. When I finally got there, the owner of the beach house asked if it was difficult to find the venue. I told the woman that I was lost for a while. I suppose she must have taken pity on me, because she gave me a big tip. The woman gave me an extra $18 on a $71 marijuana order. That is easily 1 of the greatest tips that I have acquired so far. I do not see delivery tips that big unless I supply orders that are several or $500.

I would believe that 50% of our business is delivery sales. The cannabis shop has provided delivery services over the past year. Sales increased by more than 30% after the shop started to offer delivery services. Our delivery zone is quite large. The shop covers the entire County from north to south and east to west. When drivers leave the shop, they have several different cannabis orders with them. The drivers have to be safe and supremely careful when transporting marijuana products and heaps of cash. The two of us only accept cash for all marijuana sales. Sometimes the drivers have several hundreds of dollars on them at 1 time; Last weekend 1 of the employees returned to the store before finishing all of her orders. That girl told me that she was being pursued by someone in a station wagon. She noticed the station wagon at several different delivery spots. The girl was getting upset that someone was planning to rob him, so she returned to the store with a immense stack of money. The station wagon followed this driver all the way to the edge of the neighborhood where the cannabis shop is situated. When the driver pulled into the shop parking lot, the station wagon sped away. It’s taxing to tell if the driver of the car had something illegal planned, but I’m cheerful that the driver returned to the store before something bad went down. Sometimes it is just better to be safe than sorry.

Back when our kids were in elementary school, I took them to a show in the town to see a group of performers do dances on the ice. The teenagers were gleeful for a week, because they knew they were going to witness some of their fave characters that day. The location was packed with locals and the parking lot was packed on the day of the performance. I got to the location early, so both of us could avoid heavy traffic and added delays. The teenagers and I had seats near the middle of the auditorium. The gang of us weren’t recognizably close to the stage, but both of us had an unquestionably fantastic view of everything. After the show began, the crowded room became quiet and the lights went down. There was no light in the audience at all until I saw flashing orange lights. I recognized the light immediately. I have a marijuana vape pen with the same orange lights. I saw the orange light flash a couple of times and then I began to odor the distinctive odor of medical marijuana. I wondered why other people didn’t say anything to the lady who was clearly smoking cannabis in the audience. I could odor the drug honestly clearly and I’m sure the usher at the end of the aisle could odor it too. There was no smoke, so it had to be a marijuana vape pen. The children’s ice concert was no venue for marijuana and I was disappointed that the folks running the venue did not eject the girl from the concert for using an illegal substance around the teenagers.
