A lot of cannabis workers are not experts with their products

There are a fair amount of tasks where I wouldn’t expect the employees to be professionals regarding all of their contractor’s products & services.

There is a huge difference between a cashier at the grocery store & a waiter at a diner.

While the latter spends most of their shift recording orders & making suggestions based on the menu offerings, the former usually scans items & processes payments. It’s no shock that cashiers often look at me like a deer in the headlights when I ask them about a unique product & what aisle I can find it in. I care about it when someone is willing to go out of their way to help me with a complication I’m having trying to find something I need on the shelves. I definitely run into similar complications when I’m shopping at the local cannabis shop. You expect cannabis budtenders to be trained & understand most, if not all of the products that happen to be in the store, however numerous are just glorified cashiers who are trained to utilize the register. They scan your products & accept your money. But at times I need help finding a strain that’s going to work well for my unique ailments. If there are all of these strains at the cannabis shop I haven’t tried yet, it can help to ask the budtender if they’ve experienced any of them personally. Other times I want them to scan the item & show me the terpene percentage on the lab report results. This can also provide information on which terpenes happen to be dominant, something that can tell me if I’ll prefer a unique strain or not in varying cases.

Some cannabis budtenders barely know anything about cannabis concentrates

cannabis education

I got some amazing cannabis last weekend

I was out of town for a wedding last weekend and I stayed at a really nice hotel downtown.

I noticed that on the strip of businesses near the hotel where I was staying, there were about a dozen cannabis dispensaries! I was kind of surprised to see that there were so many different cannabis dispensaries right there together. I thought that they had to be spaced a certain amount of space apart, but I guess I was wrong. Either that, or some of them weren’t actually cannabis dispensaries at all. I did notice that a lot of places around there had pot leaves as part of their signage, even if they weren’t cannabis dispensaries! Anyway, I ended up going into one of the nicer looking cannabis stores because I had been wanting to try some cannabis edibles for the longest time. I had never even used any type of cannabis before and so I thought that this was the perfect time for me to give it a try. After all, I was alone in a hotel room with nothing to do and nowhere to go so it wasn’t going to hurt anything. The people in the cannabis dispensary were really nice and accommodating. They answered all of my questions and they helped me find the right thing to try. They had so much cannabis knowledge in that store that I really felt as if I were at some sort of marijuana education event or something. They offered me cannabis flower products, cannabis cartridge products, and even cannabis drinks. I ended up settling for some regular old cannabis edibles. They were shaped like gummy bears and they tasted pretty good, to tell you the truth.

Medical Cannabis Cards

The library is offering cannabis education classes

The library here in town is doing something that’s really surprising, in my opinion. They have decided to offer cannabis education classes at their main library branch this summer. I could not believe it when I saw the notification for the classes online. I was just online checking out my status because I thought that I probably had a bunch of overdue fees. I wasn’t wrong, of course! But then I also noticed that there was a little ad for something called a medical marijuana education class coming up for the community this summer. The library is always offering little education classes and how to courses now and then, but this was the very first time that I ever saw them mention anything at all about cannabis education. I think that it’s very important for the community to become comfortable with the idea of medical marijuana and so cannabis education is something that is very close to my heart. I was really excited to see the name of the class on there and so I read the description. It said that their medical marijuana class teaches you how to get your own medical marijuana card easily if you need one. They are also going to go through all kinds of questions and answer sessions about medical marijuana. There will be several experts there who know everything that there is to know about medical marijuana and so I am just thrilled that they are doing this. I think it’s great that the library is actually going to spread the word that there are so many great uses for medical marijuana. I think it’s time that everyone learns about it.

My wife and I went to a cannabis dispensary last weekend

Last weekend, my wife and I decided that we wanted to have a date night but we didn’t really want to go do a movie or dinner or a bar or something like that. That kind of thing gets really old after a while when you do it so often. I had been looking online for some different things to do and I found out that there was a new cannabis dispensary that had opened up just a couple of miles from us. This particular cannabis dispensary had only been open for a few months, and so it wasn’t really all that well known in the area yet. We had certainly never been to it before and so we weren’t really sure what the protocols were for getting inside. I know that at certain cannabis dispensaries, you have to make appointments and get put on a reservation list before they will let you inside. That wasn’t the case with this cannabis dispensary, though. The guy on the phone told us to just show up and come on in. I was very excited about going in and finding some new medical marijuana products for us to try out. In our state, you can get all sorts of recreational cannabis products, even if you don’t have a medical marijuana card. We were really excited to go in and get some great cannabis products to use over the weekend and we really weren’t disappointed! This cannabis dispensary was fully stocked with all kinds of things. I was super stoked to try out the cannabis drinks and the cannabis tropicals.
