I have to admit that there are a lot of reasons why I love having a cannabis dispensary in my neighborhood
It’s been about three years since the state legalized the sale of recreational marijuana. Within the first year, there were dozens of marijuana dispensaries popping up across the state. After a while, a dispensary opened up in my own neighborhood. My friends and I looked into where the new dispensary was located and made sure to check it out right away. It didn’t take long for us to become their biggest customers. I mentioned to my roommate that the cannabis dispensary had opened up just around the corner, and he started freaking out for some reason. He went on a whole long-winded rant about how he was the perfect target for cannibals to just eat up. I was shocked and confused. Finally, I realized that he thought I said cannibals, rather than cannabis, which is ridiculous! We both laughed so hard that we were crying, just thinking about the stupid thoughts that were going through his head. I teased him for a while about that one. I mean, who would casually mention cannibals moving in around the block? It’s not exactly something that you hear everyday. Thank god. Once he got it together, my roommate was just as excited as I was to have a cannabis dispensary around the corner. This made it way easier to just go get cannabis as needed. I have to admit that there are a lot of reasons why I love having a cannabis dispensary in my neighborhood. Even before they opened, they interviewed my roommate, hired him, plus trained him to be a budtender.
