Right now the entire town is in a panic. We have barely recovered from the hurricane that hit a few weeks ago, and now another one is on the way! Count your blessings if you love far enough north that you don’t have to contend with these vicious storms. A storm is just a storm, but a hurricane feels like a storm that has anger issues and wants to hurt people! The last hurricane wiped out the entire trailer park outside of town, and shut down almost all businesses for several days. Before the new storm hits I need to make sure to stock up on the essentials, namely vodka and cannabis. I did the exact same thing before the last hurricane, and it was a life-saver! Not in the literal sense, of course, cannabis did not actually save my life. It did save my sanity, because spending three days with no wifi or electricity would have been next to impossible without cannabis and booze on hand! I call it a “hurricane party” and give myself permission to drink as much vodka and smoke as much marijuana as I can. This is why other people dread hurricanes and I look forward to them – because even in a worst case scenario I will be sipping cocktails and smoking fat blunts of Blue Dream or Purple Haze.
