My new girlfriend doesn’t like the fact that I use marijuana to relax at the end of a long day.
I honestly don’t think that marijuana is a drug.
It comes from a plant and is non habit forming. Studies have proven marijuana to help and treat a variety of mental and physical problems. In seven out of ten studied cases, users felt more pain relief than in placebo trials. I tried to tell my girlfriend all of this information, but she still remains steadfast in her belief that marijuana is a drug like heroin and cocaine. I never use marijuana when my girlfriend comes to visit, but I thought she knew I was still getting high with my friends. My co-workers and I had to paint three two-bedroom apartments on Friday. At the end of the day we stopped at the bar for a couple of drinks. I also stopped at a recreational marijuana shop to pick up an eighth of dried marijuana flower. My girlfriend was shopping in the mall across the street and she saw my car in the parking lot of the dispensary. She called my telephone and wanted to know where I was at the time. When I told her that I was at the shop, she accused me of lying and being a bad boyfriend. Later that night we had a talk on the phone. I told her that I did not plan to stop using recreational marijuana. If she did not accept that part of me, then it was probably time for our relationship to end.
