In recreational marijuana states, there are huge parties, public events, and sales promotions in almost every single city.
I labor at 1 of the recreational marijuana dispensaries in a state where marijuana is legal, and during the 420 holiday, Ed and I had a bunch of sales and specials. Some of those sales included BOGO, buy one and get one for free on concentrates and marijuana pre rolls. All of us also offered ounces for fifty bucks throughout the whole week. The dispensary was tied up every single morning. I worked over 60 hours that week. By the end of the month I was sleepy and ready for a couple of afternoons off. I certainly wanted to relax and put up my feet. Alas, my bestie Ed had other plans for the 2 of us. She wanted to go hiking and go to the caves. They were only going to be open to the public for a short time. And the weather was perfect that morning for walking around inside of the cave! Even though I needed a restful and enjoyable weekend, it was a lot of fun to go to the caves and explore all of these venues that are only open one time while in the year. Ed and I saw frogs and bats that are only known to exist in this identifiable cave. I had some rest on Saturday. Ed let me sleep in for a couple of hours, while she took the youngsters over to her mother’s home for dinner.
