Can’t imagine my life without cannabis

I honestly remember when I was a younger man, and I used to party to get psyched up to go out to a different party.

It’s strenuous for an old man similar to me to believe, although I would drink an entire 6-pack of corona just to pregame for the real drinking to come later.

I would start taking pills in the middle of the day, just so I would completely feel “right” when it came time to go dancing or see a show. These mornings I still do the same things – I drink booze, eat pills, and smoke cannabis – but in a much more controlled way. After a couple of belts of whiskey and a full marijuana joint I am in no condition to go out and do anything for the most part! I suppose this is all an area of getting older, but since I am still young at heart I refuse to supply up whiskey and cannabis. Of course, my doctor says that whiskey and cannabis are both a lot more dangerous at our age. I told my doctor “that’s fine, I will stop smoking marijuana and drinking bourbon just as soon as I die.” I played it off sort of like a joke, although I am not so sure it is a joke. Without a regular dose of cannabis to keep me mellow, is life even worth living? At our age all I have left is aches and pains and a slow decline in my physical health. I might live a few more years if I choose to give up whiskey and cannabis, but those added years would be totally boring.
