I had to make a serious decision last year when I was given an offer on my vehicle.
I started working a job that I could reach on my bicycle every single day and quit using my car more than once or twice a week.
The only times I really needed the car was to get packs of water from the grocery store and other heavy grocery items. A friend needed a car and had wanted mine for the past several years, so they made an offer knowing that I was no longer solely relying on that vehicle to exist day to day. I didn’t know what to say at first. It was a generous offer knowing that my car had over 140,000 miles on it at that point, but it was a model that’s no longer made from that car manufacturer. If it hadn’t been a specific type of sports car that my friend coveted, he would have never made an offer in the first place. I know he would get a lot of use out of my car and would love it the way it deserved, so I agreed to the sale. However, I had to come up with clever ways to get my heavy groceries to my house no longer having a vehicle to take to the local stores. Most of my favorite grocery stores now offer home delivery services so that hasn’t been a problem lately. Despite this, not all of my favorite cannabis dispensaries offer home delivery and the ones that do typically charge a fee for each delivery. But my favorite local weed store has amazing marjuana products and they’re easy to order from their website for home delivery. Sometimes you can get next day delivery if you order before 4pm.
