It’s not going to be an easy battle.
Cancer is not something that you take more than one aspirin and rest for a few afternoons to beat.
But thanks to the nice people at the local cannabis spot, I’m much more calm and ready to deal with what is ahead. There is going to be a lot of treatments that can be hard to deal with. Thankfully, I have sativa and indica strains in our corner. Prior to getting this cancer diagnosis, I entirely didn’t have much experience with cannabis. There was some recreational marijuana experimentation when I was in college. I certainly entirely enjoyed the times that I was able to smoke cannabis. It’s just that I was to afraid to certainly try to buy any. And then once I graduated and started toiling, using marijuana was not on the docket. It was illegal of course for a single. But there would have been extreme career implications had I been busted for possession of marijuana. So I just left it alone. There were a few possibilities when I was able to like some cannabis when old friends would drop into town. But now, I’m feeling like I’m in nice hands with the sativa and indica products the folks at the local cannabis spot have set myself and others up with. It’s a nice thing that I’m able to know that this medical marijuana will help myself and others manage the difficult spots of our treatment as I labor toward remission. But I’m also finding a positivity and hopefulness from the cannabis products that I was exactly expecting. It’s been a charming surprise and has helped our confidence that I’m going to get through this thing.
