It’s not going to be an easy battle. Cancer is not something that you take two aspirin and rest for a few days to beat. But thanks to the good people at the local cannabis spot, I’m much more calm and ready to deal with what is ahead. There is going to be a lot of treatments that can be difficult to deal with. Thankfully, I have sativa and indica strains in my corner. Prior to getting this cancer diagnosis, I really didn’t have much experience with cannabis. There was some recreational marijuana experimentation when I was in college. I actually really enjoyed the times that I was able to smoke cannabis. It’s just that I was to afraid to actually try to buy any. And then once I graduated and started working, using marijuana was not on the docket. It was illegal of course for one. But there would have been dire career implications had I been busted for possession of marijuana. So I just left it alone. There were a few occasions when I was able to enjoy some cannabis when old friends would drop into town. But now, I’m feeling like I’m in good hands with the sativa and indica products the folks at the local cannabis spot have set me up with. It’s a good thing that I’m able to know that this medical marijuana will help me manage the tough spots of my treatment as I work toward remission. But I’m also finding a positivity and hopefulness from the cannabis products that I was exactly expecting. It’s been a wonderful surprise and has helped my confidence that I’m going to get through this thing.
