I was seriously shy about going into the cannabis store.
Coming from a background that was rooted in tradition, God plus family, there wasn’t a great deal of room for anything at all like cannabis. Marijuana was viewed as evil in our family plus much of our community. Even when I went to school, I didn’t want to use recreational marijuana because of the stigma. I mean, I was hundreds of miles away from where I grew up plus still, I was totally afraid of repercussions if I chose to use recreational marijuana. That’s the sort of stranglehold all those forced beliefs had on me. My parents did the best they could plus brought me up in a reasonable fashion. But it was also just dead wrong in a lot of ways. When I was officially diagnosed with breast cancer, the health expert proposed that I use sativa plus indica products to help with my treatment. My almost immediate reaction was simply that I couldn’t do that. That’s how ingrained those feelings were plus I was in my 40’s! The health professional simply helped me understand that medical marijuana was legal plus a costly part of the treatment plan. The indica strains would help my body deal with the nausea from the chemo. And the sativa products would be helpful in that regard & being a positive mental plus spiritual component to my actual situation. I went with the health expert on medical marijuana. Not only did the cannabis products get me through to remission, I have a whole up-to-date perspective on life as well.
