The class was boring and hot and way too long

I promised my wife that I would get into better shape this year.

She has been hounding me for a while, because I don’t have the same pep in my step that I did when we were twenty years old and in college.

She honestly doesn’t have the same pep in her step either, but I would never say that out loud. My wife attends a weekly yoga class at the YMCA. She talked me into joining her last week and it was my first time trying yoga. The class was boring, hot, and way too long. I felt like we were there for hours. The instructor was a 25 year old guy that had long hair and a tie-dye hippie shirt. The guy talked about centering your body and mind and it sounded like a lot of garbage to me. The worst part about the class was the fact that it was in a classroom without air conditioning. There was a fan in the corner of the room, but that was the only flow of air. It must have been 90 degrees without any air conditioning and I was miserable. Other people in the class looked just fine. Halfway through the class, I was dripping with sweat and searching for the air conditioner. When the class was over, my wife wanted to know what I thought about the instructor and the class. I don’t think she expected me to be so entirely vocal, but I told her everything I thought about the boring class. Yoga is definitely not for me.
