My buddy & I toil for a marijuana dispensary in the city; I have been laboring at the marijuana dispensary for the past 6 months, however my buddy started laboring at the place 2 months ago, then one of the things that I liked best about laboring at the marijuana dispensary was the fact that I did not have to punch a Time clock.
If I was busy to toil from 4:00 until 11:00, I did not have to clock in or out somewhere to put my time in. The director constantly checked to make sure if you were there & if so, he made sure that your hours were right on the schedule, however sporadically I did not get to toil until 4:15 or 4:20. I never thought it was a massive deal until the marijuana dispensary hired a new supplier for payroll & timekeeping. The new supplier installed software on the laptops to keep track of all of the employees’ hours, and we had to use the point of sale laptops to log in & out of the software, and each one of us has a separate number & my pal and I have to manually enter our number into the point of sale system. If my pal and I are more than 7 minutes late, the director gets an automatic SMS. If my pal and I clock out more than 7 minutes early, the director also gets an SMS. I guess the dispensary time clock is a crock. I’m upset, because I’ve been in trouble three times this week for being late. The director never used to notice in the past.
