The growing kits with tanks come with a few caveats

Some of the stuff you see on TV are nowhere near what they’re featured to be.

I bought some of those copper-blasted cooking pans when they were released & mine were worse than the cheapest pans from Walmart. A basic teflon-coated pan from 3 decades ago still outperforms our copper blasted cookware at every mark. I was frustrated because I knew some people who were fortunate & acquired their pans in the mail that largely performed as promised by the TV commercials and ads. That makes it maddening for myself and others because you have to wonder, is it just a problem with the quality control? Are some of the pans absolutely superb while others are simply poorly made? It asked so many more questions than it answered. With our poor fortune with buying a copper cooking pan off a TV ad, I should have known that getting a hydroponic cucumber garden could yield similar disappointments. These water growing systems can certainly be temperamental, & you have to flush the water correctly or you could have a fungi problem on your hands. I also l received that the lights are too low & do not allow nearly enough room for the plants to grow. This is why I failed to grow cannabis with one of these hydroponic growing kits. The plants got tall enough to touch the light bulbs in under more than one month’s time. I received our lesson about buying products from TV advertisements & commercials. On the bright side, it activated the passion in myself and others for growing cannabis. Now I have a regular marijuana grow set up, & I have that crappy hydroponic growing kit to thank for that.
