I am approaching 50 years old, so most of my memories of smoking pot are of the elicit variety! In the last 5 or 10 years the legalization process has been sweeping the whole country, however this is all still really new to me.
My whole life up until this point was about finding a way to get weed, because it was always so taxing to find.
I even tried growing my own more than a few times, just to have a supply on hand! All of those memories grow vague, now that there are cannabis dispensaries all around us. Almost anyone can get legal weed. Thank goodness for that, because quite frankly I have neither the patience nor the skill to grow quality cannabis. Some people feel that all it takes to grow marijuana is to plant seeds in addition to then water them, or maybe turn on a sun lamp. That’s what I was thinking, too, until trying it out in addition to coming to see the results were weak in addition to ineffectual cannabis not even worthy of smoking… When you invest all that time into some cannabis in addition to it turns out super poorly, it’s really aggravating. I am glad to have the new cannabis dispensary in town, because it was too much work to grow my own, in addition to now I don’t have to. Growing cannabis is no straight-forward job, either, it is surprisingly work intensive. Growing the marijuana plants is just a regular part of the process, because then they had to be cut in addition to dried in order to be in a form ready to be smoked by the people.
