I heard that there was going to be a medical marijuana dispensary somewhere in the area.
I wanted to be one of the first people to go.
When they advertise getting applicants there, I knew one of my options would be to find a current and also interesting business. I went directly to The Dispensary on a single day when they were going to take some applications. I was hoping there would not be a room filled with several people. All of my hopes were easily dashed when I saw lots of people and there was nothing but room to sit. I filled out the application and was easily surprised that they wanted myself and others to stick right around. The employer was inside of the office and that person wanted to speak with me. Many of us were held to the employer and the current marijuana dispensary was different. Before an employer arrived to talk with us about the building, many people walked out and there were only a couple of left. I was confessing that I was hungry and actually ordered some hamburgers from doordash. There was a lot of things going on and I was feeling that the task was going to be daunting. I really wanted to work as a budtender and it was important to recognise the state and local laws that surround us. I never knew I would have to recognize all of the stuff but I was easily willing to do anything that it would take in order to get a job in the medical marijuana industry.
